If Prince William had chosen to marry before he was 25, he would by law needed his grandmother consent, Queen Elizabeth II. This has been in law for over 400 years an dates back to King Henry VIII era.

There are expected to be many millions of people lining the wedding route and with most towns and streets organising street parties, it will be an event to remember.


When Prince William´s mother Diana married Charles, it was a world event and their life together afterwards was followed in minute detail.


The official route is due to be announced in the next few weeks, but will probably used the same route used by Prince William´s mother Diana. What ever the route ends being, you will need to get up early to grab your self a spot in the front row.

The Royal wedding William and Kate is due to be held at Westminster Abbey on the 29th April 2011, find out all about what is happening on the day here. The time has been set for 11:00am.


The UK Government has declared a Royal Bank Holiday so everybody can enjoy a festive three day holiday, UK citizens only sorry for all our international readers.
